May is here. The year is almost halfway done. The Raptors are out of the playoffs, the Blue Jays are losing but at least Toronto FC has 3 wins and a tie in the last four games. Not too shabby!

The NHL regular season is over. The playoffs will begin soon and for the third season in a row, the Toronto Maple Leafs won't be competing in the playoffs. They had some good runs and some really bad runs throughout the year. The future is uncertain but hey...there's always next year right?

There's a very slim chance the Leafs will get into the playoffs. Let's just hope every other team tanks! LOL. If they make it in, it will be with some luck and some determination on their end. However...they should have showed that playing Boston yesterday...

Man, I'm feeling the pain of the Writer's Guild strike. All my favorite shows are now in limbo. Just awesome. I love greed (from both sides). I don't think the writes had much of a choice when going on strike, but it still sucks.

What a winter storm! My back is aching from shovelling all that snow. Had to shovel again this morning when the plows came by. That was annoying as hell. Let's hope the worst is over for the year.

Although the Golden Compass is a kid's movie, it looks really good. Jenn and I really want to go watch it. Same with I am Legend with Will Smith. That looks pretty good as well. I haven't read the book but the premise is good enough.
