Cytoplasmic Writings
Here is where you get to read about my wonderfully boring-ass life. I pretty much complain about everything and make really stupid observations. Enjoy.
Sunday, June 1st
My back is feeling a lot better today. Though it is still sore. I'm going to be careful this week so light workouts and no over-exertion I guess. Woke up really early today to call the walk-in clinic to check what time they would open. Turns out the clinic is closed Sundays. Man, Waterloo really sucks for walk-in clinics. Bleh.
My one day off was a little weird. I'm not sure I like to work for a few days and then only have a day off. It's like you don't really have a day off because you wake up early regardless and can't sleep late on your day off. Then again, I wouldn't like the work four days and take three days off. That's just as bad because I wouldn't want to come in at all after having three days off.
While at the gym I was watching the First Wives Club. That was a pretty funny movie from what I remembered. It had a pretty good cast and some funny moments. Seeing Diane Keaton reminded me of that movie she was in with Jack Nicholson. Another interesting movie to say the least. Which leads me straight into Iron Man. I totally forgot that I watched it the Friday Jenn was up. So what did I think about Iron Man? I was really surprised how good it was. Perhaps it was the low expectations, but it was a really entertaining movie. Robert Downey Jr. was great as Tony Stark. This ranks up there with Batman Begins and X-Men (the first one only). Let's hope the next two movies are also done by Jon Favreau. Props to you Mr. Favreau!
