Into the Abyss

Here are some links to various sites that I visit and find interesting. I've divided the sites up into different sections so it's easier to navigate. If you see your site here and would like it removed, just send me an email. If you'd like your site listed here, do the same thing. Ditto for reporting broken links. Enjoy.

The Chums

These are sites of friends and other associates:

  • Dave Namisato's Website

My good friend Dave Namisato's website. He's been drawing ever since I've known him.

  • Matt's New Home

Matthew Mark's weblog. Great read to find what this busy guy has been up to.

  • Yoda's Mindspace

Andrew Ma's weblog. Another good friend of mine since we were tots. He knows way too many people.

  • Wongoz v3.0.170

Steve Wong is another YB fellow and has spent the past few years in Europe. Yes I'm only a little jealous...just a little.

  • Not So Random Thoughts By An Airhead

Yes she's Chinese, and no, she isn't blonde. One of my longest-standing friends. She knows way too much, but then again, so do I.

  • Igloo For The Pigloo

This is Jenn Li's site. If you don't know, she's definitely a close personal friend. Hee Hee.

Cool Hangouts

Websites that I frequently visit and check out for the news and other things.

  • What Would Tyler Durden Do?

This is a great site if you like celebrity gossip and pictures. WARNING: Not safe for work!

  • Red Flag Deals

Great site for Canadian deals on pretty much everything.

  • The Digital Bits

One of the first DVD review and rumours websites out there. Great information from people who know what they're talking about.

  • Arstechnica

Forget all those fancy tech sites. This site provides great tech news and they never seem to hype things up as with other sites.

  • BBC World News

The website of the best news organization in the world. None of the hype crap that CNN does.

  • Drew Curtis' Fark

Great headlines from around the world. Gives you a real good insight into what humans are capable of nowadays.

  • The Toronto Star

Toronto's newspaper. Has improved over the years and you gotta love the Sudoku and the crossword.

Addiction Helpers

  • Non-Sport Update - New

The site to go to for information about the newest in non-sport trading cards. Card Talk, their local forum is a great community of collectors.

  • Hobby Link Japan

Straight from Japan. Books, magazines, model kits, figurines. You name it, they got it. Of course shipping always sucks.

  • From Bricks To Bothans

When the first put out Star Wars LEGO I was in heaven. This site has loads of customs and all the news about new releases.

  • ICv2

A hobby industry news site. Posts the newest info for gaming, comics and anime.

  • Newsarama

Another comic book news website. Tons of information for all things comics.

  • Comic Book Resources

Some great comic book creator columns. Erik Larsen's column is just awesome.

Comic Book Publishers

  • DC Comics - New

Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Justice League of America, Green Lantern, Flash. Heard of any of them? DC Comics also have Wildstorm, Vertigo and CMX imprints.

  • Marvel Comics - New

The House of Ideas. Where DC holds the Golden Age super-heroes, Marvel has a tight grasp on the Silver Age. Home to X-Men, Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, Avengers, Captain America and more.

  • Image Comics - New

Created originally by the top artists in the industry, Image Comics has now become a respectable avenue for small independent comics.

  • Dark Horse Comics - New

Another great small publisher that deals predominantly in licensed material. Star Wars is huge for them as are their manga titles.

  • Devil's Due Publishing - New

A fairly new publisher that produces some great alternative comic books. Glad to see them still around.
